Hello everyone! Hi new subscribers and old! I appreciate you all reading these silly little newsletters I send out about my gaming life. Sorry I kind of dropped off after PAX Unplugged - were the holidays a time tornado for anyone else this year? I felt swept up and spun around and suddenly it’s January 4 and I am hoping we get a snow day on Monday because after 2 days back at work, I am ready for another long weekend.

Question though - how many of you follow me on other sites beyond this one? I get worried about repeating myself across here, my blog, bluesky, instagram and tiktok (though RIP that one later this month, probably…)

I’m trying to keep this substack just focused on board games and ttrpgs, where my main site (orangerful.com) and socials are that plus whatever other shiny object distracts me.

ANYWAY! I plan to start typing up things again soon! Hope your year is off to a decent start…though let’s just say I’m feeling like 2025 will be a rough one for most of us because **gestures broadly at the world** - we are going to need all the games we can get to escape for a few hours!
