I am fascinated by this one. I doubt it will enter my collection any soon as I decided to stop buying new stuff until I can cull at least a dozen games out of my library. Maybe in the future…

What about card quality? Can be played without sleeves?

This game definitely is for a specific audience. I enjoy it a lot but reviews are mixed. I highly suggest watching the reviews from Shut Up & Sit Down and No Pun Included - I actually agree with the criticisms in both reviews, but at the same time, I enjoy the game because I'm not playing it like a hobbyist reviewer. I align more with Dan Thurot, since the game really clicked with him and his daughter - https://spacebiff.com/2025/06/26/vantage/

There is nothing in my collection like it. Is it perfect? No. But it scratches some itches I have for a game that is just about going on an adventure, and you're not punished for exploring and experimenting.

And the designer has said no sleeves! You don't touch the cards much so it is not necessary at all.

Looks interesting. Like a very different experience. I would enjoy trying it one day for sure if I see it in the wild.

Yes, it is a VERY different experience, which is why I think the reviews are so divided among the hobby board game community. But I think it is a fun experience, and there is nothing in my collection like it. It's not a "game" with victory points or tracks - it is just a wander around a planet, finding things and exploring for the sake of exploring.
